About the Hub

The Social Cohesion Hub is a knowledge-sharing platform that aims to bring together those interested in social cohesion. In particular, the Hub encourages dialogue between academics and practitioners working on the topic. In this vein, the Hub aims to promote exchange as well as foster cooperation and discussion between different stakeholder groups

Contributing to the Hub is open to everyone. We welcome and highly appreciate everyone sharing their projects and insights. If you know someone who might be able to contribute content, you are most welcome to share the flyer presenting the Hub.

The Social Cohesion Hub is an initiative originally conceived and launched by the “Social Cohesion in Africa” project at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS). IDOS is one of the leading research institutions and think tanks for global development and international cooperation worldwide. IDOS' work is based on the interplay between research, policy advice and training and aims to build bridges between theory and practice. IDOS is located in the UN City of Bonn.

While IDOS does not generate the content provided on the Hub, every contribution undergoes quality control by IDOS staff. The project responsible for the management of this website as well as the website itself are funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
