Overview

A joint World Bank-DIE online seminar series on social cohesion

The Social Cohesion Online Seminar Series was launched jointly on September 28, 2021, by the DIE and the World Bank. The Webinar series focuses on how social cohesion can be conceptualized and defined, what role it plays for effective development cooperation and how it can be strengthened and fostered. Online Seminars will be held every three months and are each equally split into presentations and discussions. The Online Seminar series brings researchers, policy-practitioners, and policy-makers together to translate research findings into policy practice and policy needs into research questions.

Subject of the first Online Seminar was "Trust, identity, and cooperation. New models for defining and measuring social cohesion".
